We see perfectly scripted lives play out in real-time on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. After watching and scrolling past countless pictures of manufactured happiness, wealth, and success, we believe ourselves unworthy. But, our real lives have so much more to offer!
The battle for our mind is a fight that most of us are familiar with. We all fall prey to self-judgment and the belief that we are not worthy. We all struggle to stay positive, keep motivated, and turn away the darker thoughts that want to take control of our lives by spreading lies that taint our minds with negative ideas about ourselves and our circumstances.
Many of us fall into the trap of inaction caused by the belief that we are not worthy, capable, or ready. Self-judgment is a real enemy, but it is one that we have the power to overcome.
Perhaps one of the greatest lessons that we can learn from the COVID-19 pandemic is that leading with truth is more important than leading with answers. Having an answer and having the truth are not the same thing.
What does it look like to walk in the truth on a regular everyday basis? This is a dangerous question to ask and an even harder one to answer. Yet it is also a very important question that must be addressed. What does it mean to walk in Truth?
How do we learn to recognize Truth so that we may live in it? Despite the popular culture belief that truth is relative and left up to each one of us to decipher, there is only one Truth. How do we find it?
Living in truth is not about our salvation or about a set of standards. Yet, the narrow gate is there and we are called to walk through. What Does that mean?
What is Truth? This seems like such a straightforward question. Of course, we know what truth is! So what is it? Go ahead. I’ll wait…You see, it is not that easy, but why?
